| VisualStamp is een elektronische postzegelcatalogus (computerprogramma voor het Windows platform) en heeft dezelfde 'look and feel' als een catalogus op papier. De inhoud (de gegevens) en vormgeving van deze elektronische versie is vergelijkbaar met de Speciale Catalogus Nederland en Overzeese Rijksdelen op papier uitgegeven door de NVPH in Nederland. Voor een zinvol gebruik is het echter wel noodzakelijk dat de CatView (editie 2000) catalogus op CD beschikbaar is. VisualStamp maakt namelijk gebruik van de gegevens (en afbeeldingen) die beschikbaar zijn op deze CD. Voor de demo versie is de CatView catalogus niet benodigd. Het gebruik van deze CatView catalogus impliceert dus ook dat de prijsnoteringen in Nederlandse Guldens zijn en dus niet in Euro's en dat slechts de catalogusgegevens bekend zijn tot het jaar 2000. Vanaf versie 1.1 is het mogelijk om ook catalogusgegevens handmatig in te voeren, zodat VisualStamp ook zinvol gebruikt kan worden zonder de CatView catalogus. Vanaf versie 1.2 is het mogelijk om albumbladen af te drukken voor bijvoorbeeld speciaalverzamelingen. De bediening van de catalogus en het administreren van de stempelverzameling is zéér eenvoudig en alles is ondergebracht in één scherm. The contents (the data) and layout of this electronic version is comparable to the Speciale Catalogus Nederland en Overzeese Rijksdelen on paper issued by the NVPH in The Netherlands. For a meaningfull usage however, it is required that the CatView (edition 2000) catalogue on CD is available. VisualStamp uses the information (and images) that is available on this CD. The demo version does not require the CatView catalogue. The usage of this CatView catalogue also implies that the quotations are in Dutch Guilders, so not in Euro's and that catalogue information only goes to the year 2000. From version 1.1 it is possible to also manually enter catalogue information, so that VisualStamp can also be used meaningfull without the CatView catalogue. From version 1.2 it is possible to print album pages for, for example, specialized collections. Using the catalogue and maintaining the stamp collection is very simple. | ePerforationGauge is een zeer handig hulpmiddel om de tanding te bepalen van een zegel die is afgebeeld op een grafische afbeelding met een zwart(achtig)e achtergrond. Schuif de tandingmeter over de zegel om de juiste tanding te vinden of gebruik de mogelijkheid om het programma automatisch de tanding van één zijde of de tandingen van twee zijden te laten bepalen. Het bijzondere van ePerforationGauge is dat (kleine) tandinggebreken gecorrigeerd zullen worden (b.v. een missend tandje). De belangrijkste voorwaarde voor het juist bepalen van de tanding is dat exact bekend is op welke resolutie in DPI (en schaal in %) de zegel is afgebeeld. Is de resolutie en/of de schaal niet bekend maar is de zegel een bekende tandingvariëteit, dan kan het programma alsnog zeer waarschijnlijk bepalen welke tandingvariëteit het is. ePerforationGauge kent alle tandingvariëteiten van de frankeerzegels van Nederland; daarnaast kunnen handmatig variëteiten worden ingevoerd. De automatische analyse gebeurt in (minder dan) een aantal seconden (afhankelijk van de grootte van de oorspronkelijke afbeelding en de snelheid van de computer) waarna de benaderde tanding afgerond tot de dichtstbijzijnde ¼ (0.25) wordt getoond. | ePerforationGauge is a very useful tool to determine the perforation of a stamp that is displayed on a graphical image on a black(ish) background. Move the perforation gauge over the stamp to find the exact perforation or use the possibility of the program to automatically measure the perforation of one side or the perforations of two sides. Remarkable of ePerforationGauge is that (small) perforation problems will be corrected (e.g. a missing tooth). The most important condition for measuring the exact perforation is that the resolution in DPI (and scale in %) should be known of the stamp that is displayed on the graphical image. When the resolution and/or scale is not known but the stamp is a known variety, then the program can very probably still determine which variety it is. ePerforationGauge has all the varieties of the normal postage stamps of The Netherlands included; other varieties can be added manually. The automatic analysis takes place in (less than) a few seconds (depending on the size of the image and the speed of the computer) after which the approximated perforation to the nearest ¼ (0.25) is shown. |

| Aan de linkerzijde wordt de informatie over de uitgever en zegel ingevoerd en aan de rechterzijde verschijnt het voorbeeld van het album blad/kaart op ware grootte. Slechts één kader is beschikbaar op een blad/kaart dus wanneer een eerste emissie uit meerdere zegels bestaat kan toch maar één zegel worden opgenomen. De afmetingen en marges van het blad/kaart zijn instelbaar en kunnen naar eigen inzicht worden gewijzigd. De opmaak van de teksten kan een beetje worden gemanipuleerd door het gebruik van (HTML) kodes. | Ik heb ooit eens het idee gehad om deze computerprogramma's te gaan 'vermarkten'. Echter, hier heb ik eigenlijk niet zoveel interesse in. Enige tijd geleden las ik op het Internet over het concept charity-ware (ook wel donation-ware genoemd). Hierna heb ik besloten om van deze computerprogramma's charity-ware te maken. Dit betekent dat er donatie wordt gevraagd voor het registreren en dat alle opbrengsten worden geschonken aan een goed doel, waarvoor ik het Nederlands Kanker Instituut heb gekozen. Het richtbedrag heb ik gesteld op EUR 10,00 per programma, echter elke donatie is welkom, minder of meer. Distributie van de programma's vindt alleen plaats via het Internet (deze site dus). Voorlopig is het voor mij nog niet mogelijk om een programma via een andere wijze (bijvoorbeeld CD-ROM) te distribueren! Dit geldt alleen voor de Nummerstempel Catalogus en de Kleinrondstempel Catalogus; ePerforationGauge en Fip zijn volledig vrij en hoeven dus ook niet geregistreerd te worden. | Once I had the idea to sell these programs on a more 'professional' basis. However, I do not have so much interest in this. Some time ago I read on the Internet about the concept of charity-ware (also known as donation-ware). After this I decided to make these computer programs charity-ware.
